Comment Guidelines for the 1461

In the interest of keeping the blog readable, enjoyable, and civilized, here are some guidelines to keep in mind when considering and posting comments:

Being Offensive – I reserve the right to remove any comments which I find to be offensive, inflammatory, or disrespectful. Differing opinions are welcome, but play nice or go find another place to play.

Sharing an Article – If you see an article you want to share, please copy and paste only a part or section of the article, and then include a link. If you post the entire article in a comment, it may be copyright infringement.

If you want to share one of my posts, please include part of the post, and then link back to the 1461 for the full story. I don't mind helping others build traffic as long as you don't mind sharing in the stream.

Staying On Topic – Please keep your comments on topic. Random posting with no base in the topic posted will be removed.

Pimping Your Blog - Blatant self-promotion and solicitation just to promote traffic to your own blog or website is a quick way to get deleted.

Linking to Your Own Blog – If you are posting an actual on topic comment and want to enter your url in the comment field to help you show fact or additional opinion as you make a comment that is an acceptable and proper way to link, assuming the comment and link are on topic.

Linking to Wing-nuts and Wing-nut Blogs – There are many wing-nut websites out there who have differing opinions than those expressed here. Try to refrain from dropping links to them or encouraging flame wars. Comments which contain the names of frequently read wing-nut blogs may be moderated for content regarding the above.

1,461 Days - The Story of the Obama Administration - I am here for the first time. Truth and Transparency is what I am hoping for. If you start with the TRUTH, you can then negotiate from there.

You posted this comment almost a year ago now - glad to still have you around and reading - but you have never commented beyond this one! You are free to do so at any time. As the post above reads - commenting is open - as long as your not offensive (as you can see - I allow allot of latitude for comments) your posts will make it to the blog!

It seems to be that Mr. Obama is becoming what he has always dreamed of being, a Dictator! He, without the approval of Congress is taking over every aspect of running the country and in doing so is ruining the country. I suggest to every reader that they consider replacing him in the November election just as I recommend replacing all the Senators and House members that do as he says and not what is best for the country and, don't stop there. Do the same for your country by replacing all the tax and spend state and city representatives where possible.

    1. How has he become a dictator? This is a big statement to make without offering specifics and I resent your assumption that it can be declared without explanation or support.

"welcome to the new government...Ineptocracy- a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of prodcuing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a dimishing number of producers."
Romney didn't get elected because we've reached the tipping point of people wanting money and services from the government for government to make all their decisions for them. Freedom isn't important to half the country. They want stuff. And if you have it, they want yours. There's only one Party now. The GiveAway Party. GOP is now dead (and I'm a Republican). Why? Because the only way for the GOP to compete...EVER...is to give away stuff. It's is now the American (or illegal American) way.
