President Obama once again calls on Congress to extend the payroll tax cut to prevent a tax hike on 160 million Americans. You may remember not too long ago when this was a hot topic. The congress acted at the last moment and played another round of kick the can, opting as all to often seems to be the case with our congress of late, to band-aid the problem for a quick and temporary fix. But when the taxes of the wealthy come into play they seem to be able to muster the strength to stand firm and fight hard.
