Fiscal Cliff deal passes Senate and House - on the way to President Obama for signing
The Senate Fiscal Cliff deal has passed the House 257 to 167
The Obama Administration has won yet another victory by taking control of the "Fiscal Cliff" issues facing the nation. The bill raises taxes on the nations wealthiest to the 39 % rate from the 90's while keeping unemployment insurance in place for millions.
The bill will also make the temporary Bush era tax cuts on the middle class permanent on incomes up-to $400,000 for individuals and $450,000 for married filling.
