Top Weekly WTF nominations for the week ending January 17 2010

And here we go for the weekly WTF (Washington Total Fails) for the week ending January 17th of 2010.

Post your nominations here. Go ahead and link your blog, website and Twitter if you have one.

Lets see what we end up with at the end of this week.

Personally I want to add "Palin's joining with Fox (I still didn't know people actually consider them to be a news channel)and signing a multi-year deal to serve as a contributor to Fox News, effective immediately.

And this is a Gem also:
"The White House says President Barack Obama was not offended by racial remarks that have brought Republican calls for the top Senate Democrat's resignation." Only Republicans seem to be offended

Both are great WTF moments of the week so far to me.

There are plenty more out there happening every minute!

How about you?

@artfanatic411 From twitter has offered up a nugget of gold for the Weekly WTF (the post date is a bit off for inclusion for this week though):
Post date: Saturday, January 9th, 2010 -- 4:02 pm
Post Title: GOP Congressman wants to deport every Iranian

The National Iranian American Council is on high alert after a South Carolina Congressman announced this week that he will introduce legislation which would require the deportation of all Iranians living in America.

**New addition - Pat Robertson and his controversial anti-Haiti comments during his Ultra-Right Wing religious program "The 700 Club"

The Winner for the Week of January 17, 2010:

By stating that his comments were taken out of context - when in context they were exactly what he said they were no gave him the win for this weeks top WTF!
He isn't much beyond a religious figure for the old fashioned televangelist "send me your money" type, but many people follow his political ramble and there by has the ability to engage in shaping thought and interpretation on political views.

May his racial and hate inspired speech teach those of the right wing christian following that he is not the one to follow. Find a local church and join a local flock.
Tell this charlatan to get the flock out!
