President Obama and his Energy Directive, Will it Cause Blackouts as Some Claim?

President Obama traveled to Penn State today and spent time touring the laboratories there before giving a speech that outlined his energy policies and directives for the future.

A website "XXXXXXXX" (I wont give them any additional hits because of this post)fired a conspiracy theory that claims “the rolling blackouts now being implemented in Texas and across the country as record cold weather grips the United States are a direct consequence of the Obama administration’s agenda to lay siege to the coal industry, launch a takeover of infrastructure under the contrived global warming scam, and help usher in the post-industrial collapse of America.”

The story attempts to say that the Obama Administration is attempting to push a hidden agenda by derailing the current power production and force the hand of the American people.

FAUX must have purchased "xxxxxxxx" when we weren't looking.

This seems off the deep end even for FAUX or the TeaBagger movement.

Coming Clean: Breaking America's Addiction to Oil and CoalWe need to break the hold that our current energy consumptions have over us. There is little doubt that we need to invest in better technology and new ways to both produce and transmit power across the nation. Our existing infrastructure is aging quickly and with every new unit that goes online the draw on the existing grid brings it closer to collapse, but to put a conspiracy theory out there that claims that President Obama triggers blackouts is ludicrous at best.

What do you think?

Is there a hidden agenda or a dark conspiracy?
