The FCC has decided that news no longer needs to be "Fair and Balanced" due to an Executive Order signed into law by President Obama.
President Obama signed an Executive order to get remove outdated regulations from the books. The "Fair and Balanced" FCC regulation had been effectively dead for years. Most news is on cable and internet based streams now and does not fall under the category of broadcast by the rule as set forth.
Both are venues that aren't governed by the honest, equitable and balanced requirements of the news broadcasters of old.
What's that mean?
