Onyango Obama, President Obama's Uncle Freed from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Custody on Thursday



Onyango Obama, President Obama's uncle was freed from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody on Thursday.

Onyango Obama was arrested after failing a field sobriety test in Framingham Massachusetts last month.

It was discovered that he was in the U.S. illegally shortly after his arrest.

He will not be immediately deported, but has reportedly been released under an order of supervision.

He will be required to check in regularly with immigration authorities as part of his release.
