Police are on heightened alert status as the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks
closes in on us.New York, New Jersey and the District of Columbia have increased the police
presence in response of credible but uncorroborated reports that terrorists may be plotting an attack in the cities during the Sept. 11 anniversary. The reports seem to stem from documents recovered during the raid on the bin Laden compound in Pakistan that resulted in the death of Osama bin Laden
