Mitt Romney, the former Democrat turn Republican Governor of Mass and creator and architect of the Obama health care program (he took credit once for the program being modeled after his successful program) has been receiving only lackluster support and no true power from the GOP base.
His lack of conservatism seems to be hurting him once again in this attempted election bid.
He lost to McCain last time and this time it looks like it is anyone else's chance - but Romney.
