The 43rd President of the United States George W. Bush, was the son of the 41st President George H. W. Bush President Bush (referred to by many as W) served two terms in office from 2001 until 2009.

President George W Bush enacted 291 executive orders in his 2922 days in office.

In 2001, his first year in office, President Bush signed 54 Executive Orders into law.
In contrast, President Obama, the 44th and current President of the United States signed 39 Executive Orders into law in his first year in office.
