At the closed event in Clinton, Obama announced that the University of Tennessee would lead an entity called the Institute for Advanced Composites Manufacturing Innovation, or IACMI, a $259 million public-private partnership. Funding includes $70 million from the Department of Energy and $189 million from institute partners.
