Toyota's Trouble Just Beginning

When Toyota and many other Japanese auto makers first made there beach head landing here on the United States shores they had many problems to overcome. They had inferior products that were poorly constructed and had quickly attained a reputation as unsafe and unreliable. They also had to overcome being perceived as a former enemy nation that had struck on US home soil and committed terrorist acts in the unprovoked attacks on Pearl harbor where thousands of American military and civilians were killed.

Toyota and several other Japanese company's poured millions into campaigns to generate a positive image for them and there products.

Currently Toyota has a long list of troubled automotive offerings on the market. Millions actually.

Here is the list of vehicles that are problematic for Toyota - and the consumers right now:

2009-2010 Corolla
2009-2010 Venza
2009-2010 Matrix
2009-2010 Pontiac Vibe
(Just a re-badged Matrix - even came off the same Toyota assembly line)
2007-2010 Toyota Camry
2005-2010 Avalon
2004-2009 Prius
2005-2010 Tacoma
2007-2010 Tundra
Toyota also makes the Lexus line
(your just buying a re-badged Toyota folks - and paying twice as much)
2007-2010 Lexus ES350
2006-2010 IS250
2006-2010 IS350

Stop buying into this import quality BS and start putting Americans back to work. Buy American folks. Put our country and our people back to work.

If you want fuel economy, take a look at Ford hybrids. They beat Honda and Toyota hands down for economy and performance.
