Who will be the next Joe the Plumber? Why not a member of the Iowa Tea Party like Ryan Rhodes

Ryan Rhodes stood up and decided it was his turn to speak during President Obama's town hall style meeting in Decohrah Iowa. Seems a little middle school, but - some times you have to work to get your point across.

Ryan Rhodes decided that he should shout out that "your vice president is calling people like me, a Tea Party member, a 'terrorist.'"

Ryan was upset as he felt that the President had ignored his question.

President Obama responded by saying "I know it's not going to work, if you stand up, and I asked everybody to raise their hand... I didn't see you, I wasn't avoiding you,"

The President answered Ryan Rhodes by saying in response "I absolutely agree that everybody needs to try to tone down the rhetoric," he said, "In fairness, since I have been called a socialist who wasn't born in this country, who is destroying America and taking away its freedoms because I passed a health care bill, I am all for lowering the rhetoric."

President Obama spoke with Ryan Rhodes later as the President greeted supporters after the event.

Ryan Rhodes reportedly told reporters later on that he believes that President Obama is indeed a socialist.

Well that must be the civil nature and no name calling style he was looking for.

Ryan calling Obama a socialist isn't name-calling. He's voicing his opinion of Obama's political ideology. After all, Bernie Sanders(D) of Vermont doesn't consider it a slur.

However, calling someone a "terrorist" as Biden did, and as many DC Dems implied, that clearly IS a slur.
