Breaking News: England to Suspend Sanctions against Burma

During an impromptu press conference with David Cameron of England and Aung San Suu Kyi of Burma - Cameron announced his intentions to suspend the sanctions against Burma as the small country starts to work towards democracy. Mr. Cameron was sure to enforce the statement suspend - not lift.

Aung San Suu Kyi voiced here agreement with British Prime Minister Cameron's statement of suspension rather than lifting the sanctions.

Mr. Cameron said during the press conference "suspending sanctions rather than lifting sanctions is the right move", "it must be worth taking that step, taking that risk"

Aung San Suu Kyi said "there has been a revolution of spirit in Burma"

The suspension would cover everything except the arms embargo.

The suspension, if passed would go into effect this month.

The Prime Minister invited Aung San Suu Kyi to the UK in June and it appears that she will be taking him up on the offer.

Mr. Cameron said "Burma can have a very bright economic future"
